Bags
PGYTECH OneMo 7L
After so many tries, I think I've found the best sling bag ever. For now... It beats the Peak Design 7L Sling in structure and the Nomatic 8L or 13L in external access, while also offering expansion up to 9L, which can be really handy when needed.
I especially like the open front pocket for temporarily storing things like my iPhone, a passport wallet or a sunglasses case. It has a magnetic extension at the bottom to fit bigger items when needed, and it folds back down as soon as the space is free. Brilliant feature, really.
It looks like this is going to become my go-to sling for just about everything—whether as a daily driver, for dedicated photo outings, or for hiking.
I tested it, and my 100-400mm fits in one of the lens pockets without expanding it to 9L. How cool is that?

Shimoda Urban Explore 25L
Your newest camera bag always feels like the best ever. That was true of my former main bag, until I discovered the Urban Explore. It solved two problems: external access and dual laptop carry. It also has a separate piece on the left strap for a capture clip.
The camera cube (Shimoda calls it the Core Unit) is included in the package. That's great value, as most manufacturers sell them as add-ons, adding to the overall cost of the bag.
Thanks to Ian from Shimoda Designs for a brilliant design.

Peak Design Smedium Camera Cube
I replaced the Shimoda cube for several reasons:
1. It's smaller, so I can use the internal space better.
2. The dividers are way better, and the "air" pockets are just genius.
3. When folded down, the extra top cover acts as a base, so the bag now stands on its own.
4. If I'm asked to check my bag, I can pull out the cube and zip it closed.
5. It fits inside my Peak Design Roller Pro and even has clamps for it.
I can think of more reasons, but that's enough for now.
Technology
Apple M4 Pro MacBook Pro 14-inch
My main workhorse. It gives me all the computing power I'll need for the next 5 to 10 years, hopefully.
I use a bunch of external storage options. Having Thunderbolt 5 on all its USB-C ports is the perfect way to keep big files (RAWs and videos) off the internal storage. I used to edit video on an iPad with LumaFusion, but I started using Final Cut Pro, and it's fast, easy and super intuitive. I'm not going back.
Apple iPhone 16 Pro
This is my second camera, and sometimes even my first. It's the one I use the most, as it's always with me. I can shoot 4K video and RAW stills. Low-light performance is still its main handicap, but that's changing rapidly. The Camera Control button is quite handy, although it has a learning curve, and muscle memory keeps me reaching for the screen to snap photos.
Accessories
Jupio Pr1me Gear Tri-Charge
This is one of the most amazing gadgets I've bought. It can store 3 NP-FZ100 batteries, 3 SD cards, 3 CFexpress cards and 2 microSD cards, and it can also charge all 3 batteries at once through the USB-C IN port on the side. But wait, the Jupio Pr1me has a third personality: it's also a power bank that uses the NP-FZ100 batteries to charge your phone, tablet, AirPods, you name it. Just connect the cable to the USB-C OUT port and press the button on the right side.
Ran out of juice on your camera batteries, but your phone is still full? No problem. Reverse the cable, connect the phone to the IN port, and now your phone charges the NP-FZ100 batteries.

K&F Concept Magnetic Filter System
I hate dealing with filters. It's so inconvenient and time-consuming to screw them on and off. I even tried acetate square filters to speed up the process, but ended up not using them.
I don't know who came up with the idea of magnetic filters, but it completely changed how I use them. The only thing you need to screw in once is the magnetic adapter. It's especially good for polarizers: since there's no need for a built-in rotating ring, they can be much slimmer. You simply rotate the filter in the adapter, and the magnet holds everything together. I think it's brilliant.

INIU SnapGo Air Magnetic Power Bank
This power bank literally lives in my bag on every trip. I take it with me on the plane and can top up my phone, and even give a little of extra life to my Macbook Pro in a pinch. It won't charge it, but it'll keep the charge for a couple more hours. Enough for my movie to finish during my 7-hour trip to Los Angeles. The USB-C cable which doubles as a carrying handle is a very elegant solution.
Highly recommended

Ugreen Nexode 20000mAh 130W Portable PD Power Bank
A no-nonsense power bank I didn't expect to like this much. It can power my MacBook Pro for several hours, and also charge my phone and AirPods without breaking a sweat.
Don't ask it to power your Dell laptop. It'll burn through the charge in a few minutes.
